Some of the mods made to the Javelin: (A) Pointy nose. (B) Ballast box for balance clay. (C) Reinforced the top and bottom edges of the fuselage side frames. (D) Reinforced pegs for wing hold down rubber band.

Feather the edges as close to tangent to surface as possible. This way you'll have only one texture to deal with (i.e. just filler) when finishing.You're going to want to coat the back (side facing model) with CA for reinforcment to help with retaining a sharp edge while feathering the edge. Phil.

Poly-span...looks like silk span, applied with dope like silk span, but you shrink it with a heat gun. Not too shabby for my first attempt.
