bobgood | Actual, or model! | BriandKilby | John and dd, the goats of model airplane building! | bobgood | Did you mean Gods Brian! (I hope so.....) | BriandKilby | Could be. | heywooood | GOAT or 'greatest of all time' is a current expression of admiration | bobgood | Thank you Don for that explanation of an unknown (to us) expression. | heywooood | yeah - I was perplexed the first time I heard the term used this way. Like you I remember when it was an epithet. Now it's an acronym.

I forgot how easy it is to cover with Japanese tissue, much easier than Domestic. Like all my vintage builds, I would have used the supplied tissue in the kit, but I cannot have a white J3 Cub. Since the span is too great on the on LE of the wing, you can see where it pulled it in, I knew this was going to happen, oh well. Tissue applied with 50/50 Elmers white glue and water then sealed with thin Sig Lite Cote. We have family coming into town so I will not be able to finish for a week or so. |
