Another one for Heywood. I found that a togo cup from a restaurant can be cut down and it fit perfectly as a shroud for the cockpit as it gave just a little lip and covered the instrument panel.

Lost most of my picturres for the builds but uploading these two for Heywood. This was my attempt at making the oxygen tube. It is .015" solder wrapped around a wire but not sure of the gauge of the wire but the overall diameter is .063". I will never do this again.

Decided to try a scratch build Guillows DeHavilland Mosquito as the Catilina waits patiently in the background. I know I can build the fuselage wings and all balsa parts. Have no idea what I'm going to do about plastic yet. That's what makes this hobby fun. Anybody got spare plastic parts they're willing to sell? :-)

Bottom. Not as smooth as I would like. I can see quite a few stringers here that you can’t really see in the photo. Definitely needed to send more time sanding the bottom. Will require quite a bit more fill and sanding. All part of the fun!

Cockpit after painting and weathering. I will put this into the airplane after I finish outside detailing.

Weathers getting cold and wet in the PacNW so started working on the XP-67 again. I modeled the cockpit using Blender and printed out on my 3D printer. Photo references are really hard to find. I was able to find three photos on the internet. One is of the left side of the cockpit. One is looking forward ¾ view from right to left so that you can see some of the left side and the dash board. The other is from to top showing the dashboard, floor boards, rudder pedals and a little of the sides. I could not find photos of the right side or the seat. So I use contemporary aircraft (P-38 and P-47) as references.

Getting ready for next build. My uncle's basic trainer. I looked at Poppy's version. I've definitely got my work cut out for me. I hope it turns out half as well.
