Guillows Albatros D5A. Images are a bit dark, i built most of this one while in my boat, and tle light are not suited for building. I had the responsebillity for getting the first Starbucks coffe shop in Stavanger done, and figured if i took my boat to Stavanger id be ready to go to work at any time. And of course this meant building a kit in the spare time :)

To help give the legs some added dimension, additional small pieces of plastic card were cut to size of each leg

The two plastic sides were then super glued to the sides of the engine block. We can see how the Wright engine is taking shape

After cutting the two plastic sides, I hollowed out the side of the engine block for the gears and used a black marking pen to darken the interior

Making the two remaining sides, I traced the outline of the engine onto additional card stock. I also allowed for extra plastic card along the bottom for the legs of the engine

I then bent the card along the score line to form a smooth side. Note the small ridge along the fold line.
