Despite the seemingly tiny cross section of the half-round plastic strips used for rigging, it was still too large to fit over the small beads used as turnbuckles. To use larger beads would have made everything out of scale. To reduce the cross section, I used heat to stretch out the ends . The lighter was taped for photographic purposes.

Story so far...... bought some 5 colour lozenge camouflage heat shrinking film from Arizona Models which went on fairly good (my first time with this method). Thinking I might get a lot of 'flak' for using a later DV camouflage scheme I deciced to painted over with a more suitable D11 colour scheme. Some of it has been painted with a coat of semi matt varnish – deciding on either matt or semi matt finish.
