| SteveM | Guillows Series 400 - P-51 Mustang | Flying | 04-Apr-09 19:00 | | | Views : 12184 | | Clear, calm, cold, and about an hour before anyone else shows up to fly. They all flew fine and I only broke two of three props. I had the Aero-Star at full throttle and high rates doing rolls, loops, and Immelmann turns, then I came down for a touch and go but caught the prop on the runway and so much ice flew off I thought I had broken something (other than the prop). After I got home I changed the wheels on the Aero-Star and have almost 3/4" more ground clearance which should help with the prop breakage. |
