After three coats of thinned nitrate dope the structure was wet covered with Sig silkspan and dope. 28 pieces of silkspan were used. It was then given three more coats of dope and sanded with 320 wet/dry paper. Painting is with Liquitex acrylics as usual.

Note to self: be sure to purchase 3/32” balsa strip online during a pandemic because there will be a run on it at every potential store in the area. Toilet paper and 3/32” balsa: GONE!

Sanded out nice. Could use suggestions on how to cover with silk sceen and eze dope 50:50. I am a ways away but would appreciate tricks to make it go on smooth on a planked/filled surface
