Think I got my method for instrument panels down. I actually cut the individual instrument out from the sheet in the box and pasted them to a thin cardboard panel of my own. Then I cut another panel from a slide projector sheet. I cut out some small circles over where the gauges would show through. Then I painted over it and bingo. Gives it that glass gauge look in the light.
