In the factory they had 2 guys holding a form and another with the spray gun. Sure must have made getting the camo lines about the same on each side.

We had intended to start the install of the flight wires and bracing rigging this day. However this was not the case. The design committee decided that it would be prudent to address the lift mechanism issue for the Lewis guns. The install of the mechanism would be hindered by the rigging wiring. As stated in the Windsock data booklet, “the lever used to actuate the lift mechanism could be found in a railroad track switch!” Here is what Gumby and I fabricated this day. We were able to utilize one of the pulleys that were made for this build. Lewis guns in the firing position.
