I remember starting a 30" Comet Piper Cub at 12 and having to sand the cowl to shape and just having my interest drained after I couldn't find Clear Dope...or dope of any kind, in the town I was in, (Kamloops, British Columbia). They just looked at me weird when asking for dope...go figure. :D...It's a fun hobby, and I'm pleased to say I made a nice P-40 later on. So, Keep on rocking in the free world, and watch this site, because daily I am amazed by the stuff these gentlemen craft. |
