I reinforced the plastic cowl with Al flashing. The fit between it and the engine is too tight to permit engine and prop rotation. I turned the rotary into a radial.

The Camel rests, all we have left are the insignias, markings, and final touch ups. I ought to break ground on the new build Monday.

The prop turns. It and the cowl are esily removable if anyone wishes to look at the engine details.

I did not think ahead. When I made the engine and prop I did not consider the length of the support shaft. It is too short and I cannot remove it. I want the engine and prop to turn freely. Yet another problem in micro engineering!
