Well the Gumster is glad that this task is completed. The rudder is in the rough but the fin has been sanded and shaped. Gumby said that he should have both covered by the end of his work day tomorrow!

My reference books have had photos of this tyre company’s name on a few British aeroplanes. Gumby decided to use there tyres on Ogre therefore the Palmer Cord Aero Tyre trademark was imprinted.

Gumby believes that I was slightly remiss yesterday when posting Vickers construction photos. At my little buddy’s request I am posting this photo, today. The fuselage mounted Vickers still reqires the interrupter “gear” linkage and an access port in the cockpit wall that enabled the pilot to cock the gun and provide the gun access to the ammunition belt.
