When one prop spins, the other spins in the opposite direction, and the drive shaft that go through the cockpit will spin also. I plan to print this on my 3D DLP printer. |

I found out about the aircraft when I ran across it in the Old Machine Press (https://oldmachinepress.com/2012/11/01/bugatti-model-100p-racer/) several years ago and thought that it is one of the cleanest aircraft designs I’d ever seen. This aircraft was never flown in period, however a replica was built in in the 2000’s. Unfortunately, the pilot and builder, Scotty Wilson, was killed when the plane crashed on a test flight in August 2016. I have not been able to find any balsa model plans for this aircraft so I’m going to create my own use a 3D model created in Blender.org. This is a render of the model. |
