the middle of the wing is dried i just needed to put a bit more of glue and water on the edges. the sides of the wing are just drying. i plan to spaypaint the plane blue. will that work?

I have glued the tissue on and covered it with a mixture of elmers liquid glue and water. i took this picture right after i applyed the liquid glue and water
